Check which app is required
Use Tray when the assignment explicitly requests that application type. Desktop and Tray are different modes; do not choose an installer by its position in a list or substitute one for the other.
Install before the exam
Open the download choices offered by the assignment or organiser.
Select the Tray installer for your operating system. The official guide covers Windows 64-bit and macOS.
On macOS, move the downloaded application into Applications. On Windows, follow the verified installer’s prompts.
Allow the required camera, microphone and screen-recording permissions for this app.
Open the app, return to the exam page and select Open in App. Confirm the browser’s request to open the installed TrustExam app.
Complete the session setup
Read the rules, complete equipment and identity checks, and connect the second camera if requested. Follow the on-screen flow for the assigned mode. Start only when the checks are complete.
If the app does not open
Use the app-launch guide. If the operating system blocks the installer or an organisation manages the device, have support or your IT administrator confirm the correct build and permissions. Keep the error text; do not install another download simply because it has a similar name.
Finish the attempt
Submit using the exam’s Finish action. Result visibility and retakes depend on the assignment settings.
