Find assignments and manage an exam

Navigate the manager workspace, check availability and open a participant’s record.

Guide reviewed:

Open the manager workspace

Sign in at app.trustexam.ai with the account provided for your organisation. Use Assignments for most exam-management actions. The visible controls depend on your permissions and organisation’s configuration.

Find the relevant assignment

  1. Search by name, then use the status and type filters if needed.

  2. Open the assignment and confirm its availability period and assigned group.

  3. Check the written status and schedule. Indicator colours differ between documented interface versions, so colour alone is not a reliable availability check.

  4. Review participant progress and the activity log. Open an individual participant for answers, identification and available recordings.

Use management actions deliberately

Assignment controls include saving settings, copying, pausing or stopping access, exporting results and opening proctoring views. An authorised manager can also have controls for an individual participant’s remaining time and attempt state.

Before changing time or resuming an attempt, confirm the correct participant, incident and programme rule. Resetting answers is different from resuming an attempt and can affect recorded work.

If something is unavailable

Ask your organisation’s administrator to verify your role and the assignment state. For a technical issue, report the assignment identifier, action, time and error through the agreed support channel.

Access, schedule or results

Contact your exam organiser using the details in your invitation. They handle assignment access and timing, grades, retakes, appeals and individual arrangements.

What to check before contacting them
What to include in a support message
  • Exam name and the step where the problem occurred.
  • The time and your time zone.
  • Exact error text, operating system, and browser or app version.
  • Checks already tried; an error screenshot without exam questions or unnecessary personal data.

Do not include passwords, sign-in codes or identity documents in an ordinary message. Use the exam’s designated identity-check step for documents.
