Online proctoring in Canada

Deliver certification exams and online assessments with participant identity checks, configurable monitoring and documented review. TrustExam is used in real certification exams by Dunk & Associates / Systems 24-7, a Canadian client.

WORKFLOWS TO EXPLORE

Build your programme around the credential, candidate journey and review responsibilities.

01

Food handler certification

The Dunk & Associates collaboration provides a practical Canadian example of exam delivery for food handler certification. Use the case to discuss your own exam rules and workflow; it does not imply that every programme or province has the same requirements.

02

Professional certification

Define eligibility, permitted materials, retakes and who reviews session evidence. Keep the knowledge score separate from an integrity concern, with a clear route for candidate questions and appeals.

03

Education and workforce assessments

Create assessments in TrustExam or scope an integration with your learning platform. Use job- or course-relevant questions and test the workflow on the devices your participants will actually use.

BEFORE ROLLOUT

What to validate for your programme

Bring these questions into discovery and the acceptance criteria.

English and French exam interface

TrustExam supports English and French in the exam interface. The organiser prepares the question text, instructions and support arrangements for each audience; test the full journey in both languages.

Canadian data hosting

Data can be hosted in Canada. Agree the deployment location, recording retention, reviewer access, deletion process and any data transfers before launch. Hosting location alone does not establish compliance with a particular privacy law.

A workable remote exam setup

Pilot the camera, connection and selected exam mode before inviting the full cohort. Include individual adjustments and a documented response to technical interruptions. Confirm support coverage for the time zones in your programme.

A PRACTICAL FIRST STEP

A pilot with clear decision criteria

Bring one representative exam, the expected cohort, required languages, permitted materials and your review policy. Agree acceptance criteria before the pilot: setup completion, finished attempts, support demand and the time needed to review sessions.

Is TrustExam already used by a Canadian client?

Yes. Dunk & Associates / Systems 24-7 uses TrustExam in real certification exams. The published case describes the food handler certification collaboration; no performance result is promised for another deployment.

Can data remain in Canada?

Canadian hosting is available. Confirm which data, backups and operational processes the agreed location covers, together with access and retention terms, during implementation.

Does the website’s language determine the exam language?

No. The marketing website and exam interface have separate language settings. French is supported in the exam interface; prepare translated exam content and candidate communications for your programme.
