INTEGRATIONS

Keep your assessment platform. Connect the integrity workflow.

Connect TrustExam to your learning or assessment service. For universities, training teams and EdTech or LMS providers, start with the participant journey, data ownership and the review workflow you need to support.

A PRACTICAL APPROACH

A clear boundary between systems.

There are two delivery paths. Use TrustExam’s question bank, exam settings, participant groups and results as your assessment platform, or keep your existing system and integrate proctoring. For an integration, agree where participants enter, how sessions are linked and what results return to each system.

Education and training teams

Discuss the connection to your existing LMS, including participant access and assessment results. Confirm the supported workflow for your version.

EdTech & LMS providers

Map how assessment or proctoring fits into your product. Define system boundaries, actual interfaces and the responsibilities of both support teams.

Exam-platform owners

Retain the agreed exam workflow while connecting identity, session controls or review where the integration supports them.

DETAILS & NEXT STEPS

Define the boundary between the two systems.

01

Learning and exam ownership

Decide whether questions and assessment stay in your platform or run in TrustExam. Assign the owners of learner records, marking and session review.

02

Identity and launch

Map participants, exams and attempts using stable identifiers. Agree authentication, launch permissions and what happens after an interrupted or duplicate launch.

03

Results and review

Define answer scores, session statuses and integrity decisions separately. Confirm which fields can be exchanged and who may access recordings and other evidence.

04

Versions and support

Validate the actual documentation and supported versions. Agree responsibilities for release changes, participant support and problems crossing system boundaries.

FROM SETUP TO ACCEPTANCE

Validate one complete integration path.

Agree the expected outcome, then verify it in a representative workflow for your organisation.

What the setup should deliver

Workflow map

Agreed systems, roles, identifiers and data ownership.

Confirmed exchange

The actual launch and result fields supported by the agreed integration.

Support responsibilities

Named owners for participant problems and technical escalation.

What to verify in the pilot

  1. 01

    Launch the correct exam

Verify the participant, assignment and attempt identifiers.

  2. 02

    Handle abnormal paths

Test an interrupted session and duplicate launch under the agreed rules.

  3. 03

    Confirm result meanings

Check that both systems distinguish scores, statuses and integrity outcomes.

  4. 04

    Complete reviewer access

Validate authorised evidence access and the support handover.

Talk to the team
Is this relevant to EdTech and LMS providers?

Yes, this is the right conversation for platform teams that want to add an assessment or proctoring workflow to their existing service. The scope, interfaces and support model must be validated together.

Does an SDK mean every LMS works out of the box?

No. Compatibility depends on the actual platform, version and intended workflow. Confirm the interfaces and test the complete participant and reviewer journeys.

Can you confirm API endpoints, SSO or LTI support here?

Specific endpoints, authentication methods, protocols and supported versions must come from current technical documentation. They should not be inferred from a general integration illustration.
